Annual Ministerial Meeting on UNRWA
On the margins of the high-level segment of the 80th United Nations General Assembly, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Spain, and the Federative Republic of Brazil will co-host a ministerial-level meeting on the critical and indispensable role of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

Description
The meeting will highlight UNRWA's contributions to advancing human development, regional stability, and peace, while also underscoring its role—particularly in this moment of acute crisis—as a platform for global humanitarian assistance for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
Discussions will also address ways to ensure sustained access of Palestine refugees to the Agency's services, including measures to overcome immediate financial challenges, as well as political and operational constraints.
