As Uzbekistan moves towards a market economy, many people turn to small business investment as means of survival. UNDP is assisting the Government of Usbekistan to set up a network of business incubators as a support system for aspiring entrepreneurs. These incumbators offer training in areas such as management, marketing and international trade. This arrangement is providing more job opportunities for the unemployed and has boosted the local economy.
